3D Printing Analysis
This experience can have a lifelong impact on my students' futures. Additionally, it provides them with college and career readiness as well as giving them an advantage in the real world. One challenge that I may have with the 3D printer is that it might not let me print an object that is larger than the printer is capable of printing. My way of overcoming this challenge is by getting my students to choose an article that is small in size. The next challenge that may have an impact on implementing 3D printing models is my lack of knowledge on how to use it. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...Out of the few suggestions given in the article, I deem that give students "guidance how to use those devices for learning" will be the best thing for them instead of taking the right of access away. Access to the internet and mobile devices allows low–income students to learn more than their teachers can provide in the classroom. Also, the access to mobile devices offers opportunities for students to explore, be engage, and receive further explanation about not just topics in school but in the real world too. In addition, access to mobile devices for low–income students can "promote group work and project based learning". Learning should not just come from the teacher, but learning comes students teaching each other. After reading the article, I had a couple questions in regards to the information given by the author. My first question is, "Why do schools feel as though only students of color are using their mobile devices inappropriate?" Honestly, I do not believe that is the sole reason for them not allowing students to use them in school. It could also be that the mobile devices become a distraction even if it is for instructional purposes. When you tell a student to stop what they are doing and look at you, students in general will be so wrapped up in the activity on the computer. It is the same for any adult regardless of race or class. Another question that I would pose is, "How can we get students to help us with planning instruction using technology? Should we just watch what they do on the mobile devices or ask them what apps they mostly
