You hear a lot of stories over the tortoise and the hare when you are young, but have you ever stopped to look at the meaning behind the story other than as a mean bunny get what he deserved for being too confident. The writer of these stories had a certain mean behind the story which is that you need to slow down in life and take everything in and it will come to you. Aesop, the fable teller, that is a title we hear often . He presents fables for children with a moral behind it. Still to this day no one really knows his true life story , but we know of his fables.
