Segregation is one of the many themes that connect Amazing Grace and Twilight. Segregation is the most prominent problem discussed in both pieces. But if there is a woman with money, who is from a richer area like Europe, then workers wait on their every need. It is showing that they have no patience for those who look a certain way because social segregation has gotten so bad, especially in New York. Segregation is forced down these people's throats, everywhere they go people are harassing them or darting dirty looks for being in certain neighborhoods or shops.
