On March 29, 1790, John Tyler was born, in a place called Charles City County (His future presidential competition, William Henry Harrison, also came from here). A racist and a, well, racist, the future of the nation would one day fall onto his shoulders. We're just not quite there yet. In 1807, John Tyler graduated from the College of William and Mary.
