Growing up I was led to believe that when you die it will be of old age, in a hospital bed with loved ones surrounding you. You are able to say goodbye to those you care for and tell them what you have been waiting and wanting to say. Even if they aren't there it is important to let them know everything and tell them what they mean to you. And no, this isn't just so you feel better about yourself it is one of you last acts on this earth, your last chance to say what needs to be said to those that matter to you. It isn't something that is normally talked about but it needs to be, it is something that will happen to just about everyone and you need to be prepared.

Guaranteed, this is the hardest thing you will EVER have to do. You can't avoid it, it is something you will have to do. Many people believe that you should not make this contact to your family, you should just leave them alone. I think different. This is the last time they will ever hear your voice or read your message. This small act reflects who you are and is a part of you that will stay with those people forever.
