Preamble Persuasive Essay
The Preamble is an encouraging document. I believe the tone of the writing is determined and idealistic. The government might not do things for us. For America to be free, people have to be determined even when things don't go their way or in other words be a "Perfect Union. My claim is that the Congress has the most power. First, I think this because the Congress makes the laws. Secondly, the Congress can impeach the people that serve for the United States. Lastly, the Congress can amend the constitution. These are my three subclaims that I used to maintain my claim that the Congress has the most power in our country.
The first subclaim I think would defend my claim is that the Congress makes the laws. I used articles to find evidence to backup my claim. In the articles it stated that the Congress makes the laws then the president approves and executes them. Which in my words means that the congress makes the laws and the president says it's okay. This is one subclaim that I used to maintain my claim that the Congress has the most power in our country. I used this subclaim because they have a big duty to make the laws.
