Why will she be a good candidate for the next year VEJV program? This is what you may be asking yourself right now. One may question, why pick this individual among the entire 7th grade. Although there are many good students to consider for the position, I know that I will be the best person to fit the VEJV criteria. While I will be putting my best foot forward in VE, I am also going to fulfill my other responsibilities as well. My peers in other classes will most likely see VE as being "boring" and having "no benefit". I, on the other hand, have found a special interest in VE, and I have acquired many beneficial skills. Not only did we learn how to use many handy applications (such as Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, google forms, etc), but we also learned valuable life lessons as well. First of all, I want a real world experience and I know this is the only class in M.S.137 that will give it to me. In all of the other classes, they go easy on you and I want to see what it is like to be in the real world without people sugar–coating it for you. Overall, I want to gain the experience so I won't be so confused in the future when I have to do this by myself. Another motive I have for wanting to participate in the VEJV program for next year is that I want to challenge myself. I want to prove to myself that I can handle these real world tasks and be able to conquer everything else as well. This is the only class that can challenge myself with because it offers my lessons and materials that will actually show my true potential when it comes to real world
