Actually, he had two parties to help him resist British Government, which are Boston town meeting and the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Having those hard shields, Adams wrote the letters of rebellion and resolution. So the famous sentence: "No taxation without representation" (Adams) used to present their heart of rebellion. In their point of view, British Government raised the taxation without their permissions; it has no way that people who pay more tax has less rights. To take the steps on protest, Samuel Adams argues that colonists should reject import tea into the colonies, in order to maintenance their determination. Nevertheless, he was not suggesting using violence way to solve this issue, or punish the soldiers, he preferred to use the wiser way in a political direction. In the year 1773, Adams also organized many kinds of rebellions and speeches to encourage their resolution. In the Tea Act, Adams was not fighting it for tea taxation, but reducing the price of tea, he thought the tea act is a strategy of exploit the rights of colonists.
