Through researching various topics, it is clear that human interaction with the earth is the main cause of global warming. Global warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere, generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants (Google Search). Though there are many natural contributions to global warming, it can be mainly attributed to industrialization, deforestation, and aerosol usage by humans. One main cause of global warming is industrialization. Industrialization has been around for more than two centuries and humans have been impacted by this greatly, while impacting the environment as well. In the mid–1700s, Great Britain began replacing manual farm labor with machinery (McLamb). With all the machines taking people's jobs, an abundance of coal and different fuels were being used, polluting the air with dangerous gases. The Industrial Revolution had kick–started the climate change when an abundance of gases was being quickly releases into the atmosphere every day. There has been a rise in natural greenhouse gases, such as water vapor and carbon dioxide, but people burning gases, such as fuel and gasoline have a greater impact. These gases trap heat in the atmosphere and people around the world are using it daily, increasing the effects daily (McLamb).
