Abstract

Fine dining is underappreciated and undervalued by many and it is wrong. It is deemed to be over–expensive which is not true. Prices at fine dining establishments are always based on logical reasons and facts. Chefs are as valuable as the establishment itself. In contrary to the belief that courses at these establishments do not fulfill nutritional requirements, in reality they do. Fine dining evolved from the tables of kings and aristocrats to the tables of the modern wealthy. Some chefs have significant influence on the evolution of fine dining.



Reasons to Keep Fine Dining Around



What is fine dining? Why does it even exist? Why pay so much for so little? Finally, will I be full with so little? Welcome to the world of fine dining. We all started the same way, thinking paying some outrageous price like $50 for four strips of beef and mash was illogical and stupendous. Thinking, in the end it is just the means of feeding yourself in order to survive. As life taught me, it is not! Let us start with the questions that we posed.
